Krav Maga Yashir Instructor Team

Krav Maga Yashir, Head Instructor, Gershon Ben Keren has been training and teaching Krav Maga since 1994. He passed the 29 day IKMF Instructor Course, under Eyal Yanilov and Amnon Darsa, and has trained with other notable Krav Maga instructors, including Miki Assulin, Avi Moyal, and Haim Gidon. In 2010, he was inducted into the Museum of Israeli Martial Arts in Herzliya, Israel. He has written three Amazon best-selling books on Krav Maga and started working in the security industry in 1990. He holds two master’s degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Criminology and Criminal Psychology and is actively engaged in research concerning environmental criminology i.e., why certain crimes -including violent offenses – happen at specific times, in specific locations (the spatial and temporal aspects of crime) etc. His academic background and experiences of working within the security industry informs the training methods and solutions employed in the Krav Maga Yashir system. The Krav Maga Yashir training center he teaches at is located just South of Lawrence (a 20-minute drive) off of I-93 South.
